Beautiful place of rest and repose in the middle of Abu Ghosh. The brothers and sisters are very welcoming and kind. Ask about doing a spiritual retreat here. You can even join the brothers for lunch which is quite an experience. The Guesthouse accommodations are not bad and can’t beat the price. The gardens are very lovely and highly recommended. Check out the church which has amazing frescoes and great acoustics. Be sure to join in on one of the worship services.

One of a few buildings from the Cruzader era that still to today.

A pleasant, interesting crusader Church. Felt like an oasis of Western Europe. No info on site about its history unfortunately. Worth a visit if already in the area, but not worth a detour unless you're really into late Romanesque early Gothic churches.

Woow! What an amazing and beautiful place on the heart of Abu Gosh! Benefictime Abbey from the 12th century really well preserved. The gardens are fabulous! Highly recommended.

A beautiful mixed community of Benedictine monks and nuns that sing the 10:30am Sunday Eucharist. A glorious experience. There is also a beautiful reflection garden dedicated to the memory of the late Cardinal Archbishop of Paris, Jean-Marie Lustiger, who was a regular visitor. Although the church dates to the crusades, the community has been present only since the 1970s.

A peaceful church which is attached to a monastery, Jesus is believed to have met some disciples after his resurrection. There is a lovely garden around the church.
