Beautiful place for a day’s escape

We took the 16:00 ferry from Haifa to Akko . 30nis one way. Very pleasant . they have small shop for soft drinks etc.. There is a windowed section , and on top an open , roofed one. Getting to the ship is easy for wheelchair, though going up stairs (external) would be rather hard. Takes 50min and is very nice , even on a stormy day I would love it.

There are organized tours now. You can easily travel by Malkat Akko. This is a ship. It will be able to pass 220 tourists at least 4 times a day, all seven days a week - from beautiful Haifa to Old City of Akko by sea. The trip will take 25 minutes, and costs 30 shekels one way (about 8) , and 55 shekels (approximately 14) for a return trip.
