Really disappointing. First, items we ordered were not available. Ok, it happens. Then i ordered cauliflower, with my arais, and an extra side of green beans. I asked if the cauliflower was made without a coating - and he said it had oil, but no coating. I said oil is fine. Hubby ordered a steak medium rare. When the food came, my husband's steak was still totally raw in the middle. As in, uncooked. Not pink. And i got two batches of cauliflower, deep-fried in batter. When i complained, he said it's not a batter, it's bread crumbs. Me: It's dough, it's flour! Deadpan reaction - no apology. And no green beans. Reason unknown. I sent back the cauliflower and got one side salad to eat with my rubbery and undercooked arais. My husband sent back the steak, after being told by the underage waiter that this is what medium rare looked like. It was more steak tartare than cooked. So he asked for medium and eventually got something medium rare. We were charged 15 nis for the extra side dish that i didn't eat because "they made it" and two different prices for the same two drinks - 10 & 8 nis - but it was just constant mishandling, so that it became stressful. We paid the extra 17 nis and were just glad we only came to eat and not for anything more important. Sad that the only meat place inside the old city with a mehadrin hechsher can't be more on top of things.

Very nice spot with menu ready for takeaway or to sit down at benches and tables outside in the beautiful square. I enjoyed a very tasty cup of soup.

The BEST Shawarma!!! Don't let the big sign fool you, this a local place with local flavor. The lamb and turkey shawarma is a packed with juicy goodness. But that's just the beginning of the adventure in your mouth. Creamy tahini, ripe tomato and lettuce, a subtle spicy sauce that brings your taste buds on a roller coaster and of course, hummus at the base all wrapped in pita together create what can only be labeled as perfection in Tzfat. It was so good that we forgot to take a picture.

This restaurant is absolutely hands down the Best shawarma joint in all of Tzfat (Safed) the chef Yossi has an amazing delicious recipe. Another one of their best selling is their mouth watering stir fry.. to Live for! Of course he has shnitzel , falafel salads, soups and other delicious food items. Come to Tzfat and check them out. They also have upstairs a huge indoor air conditioned space that can fit large groups of 50 people. Mehadrin hechsher. Super kosher
