TL;DR: Was awesome, you should definetly try it out :) A bit more elaborately: We went to a glass blowing workshop for my wife's birthday. It was just the two of us with Itay (the teacher). It was really fun, we learned a lot about the history of glass making in the area, how glass works, and more importantly - how to work with glass. we started small with simple flowers and graduated to make a full size vase. about a week later Itay sent us the finished projects (due to the low cooling rate that is reqiured for this glass) For all those who are concerned by participating during the COVID pandemic, Itay's empehsize on saftey was really noticebale. Most of the time we were with masks on. Only the person who was blowing stood a bit further away without a mask, and was using a disposable straw, so no chance of contamination between blowers.

We had a great time learning the art of blowing glass! Itay taught us the history of glass blowing in Caesarea, from the old process of getting the raw materials, till the final glass product. Our family will be back again for another session.

We had a very nice experience there. We created small glass artifacts with the very talented glass artist Yuri. He was very patient with tye kids and with us, and helped us design what we asked for. Itai, the owner, demonstrated a traditional way of blowing glass to make a bottle.

ביקרנו בזכוכיות קיסריה בסדנה זוגית ונהננו מכל רגע! איתי התאים את הסנדא אלינו בצורה מדויקת, מההסברים המרתקים, דרך ההדגמות וההתנסויות. הרגשנו בנוח לטעות וללמוד ויצרנו כלים שבחרנו לגמרי בעצמנו!! (בהדרכה ובהשגחה צמודה כמובן, כך שהיינו לגמרי בטוחים). הכנת כלי מזכוכית הוא תהליך מדהים ומרהיב, ובזכות איתי היינו שותפים לו. איתי שולח אלינו את הכלים ככה שמעבר לחוויה המדהימה אפילו מקבלים את התוצרים עד הבית.. ממליצים בחום!

הזמנו סדנה משפחתית לזוג ושלושה ילדים. איתי המדריך/אומן מעביר את הסדנה בקלילות ומתאים אותה לגילאי הילדים. אחרי חלק תיאורטי קצר מיד הילדים מתחילים להתנסות בטכניקות השונות לעיצוב הזכוכית. תוך כדי הסברים מפורטים של איתי. לסיום עובדים ביחד על פרוייקט לפי בחירה. מאוד התרשמנו מהאהבה של איתי לאומנות הזכוכית וזה ניכר בכל דבריו ומעשיו. הילדים מאוד נהנו וגם למדו משהו כל הדרך. המחיר מעט הרתיע בהתחלה אבל תאמינו לנו שווה כל שקל!
