Conveniently placed on the corner of the German Colony, it is a great budget accommodation for all types of traveler. The staff were extremely friendly on arrival and helpful with all my questions and needs. The showers are hot. The beds were comfy, but the air con in the cheaper dorm room was very cold. I'm sure this can be adjusted. And the outside toilet could be refurbished and the lock mechanism more sturdy. Slight difficulty in finding the place and had to ask around. A large sign outside may be helpful. Otherwise an excellent place that feels very cosy and family like. The free breakfast was a nice touch. Having an open kitchen was nice. Really felt like a home away from home. Would definitely stay again!

Al Yakhour is a hostel with the best Location in Haifa. Its a short walk to Bahá'í Gardens and also there is a beautiful scenic walk and trail leading down the mountain side to Elijah's Cave. The bus stop is right in front of the hostel and you can get to the beach with a 20 min walk or take the bus to a larger beach in 10 mins. The hostel offers a complementary breakfast that includes home made hummus and leben. They have a fully stocked bar, full sized kitchen, and big open patio. The owners were friendly and helpful in organizing both my plans in Haifa as well as the rest of Israel. They create a homy atmosphere with a pleasant and clean environment. I used a picture from my Hike to Elijah's cave so you can see how beautiful Haifa and the near by area is.

Excellent and affordable hostel in downtown Haifa. Cozy common areas, excellent interior full of character, delicious breakfast and more. Owners and volunteers are super friendly and helpful.
Love this place! It's super nice. People are very friendly and helpful. There's a nice atmosphere and a cosy bar. The rooms are okay and the breakfast is good too.
Very privat, sweet little hostel. Good price/performance ratio and a quiet place for sleep. Kind of inexperienced
