if your kid has never been on anything that has to do with it trains then this is definitely a thing to do. it crosses through the whole city which is already a very big convenience immaculately clean and very specious. super affordable price and worth the trip

Clean, fast, safety. Very comfortable seats and you can get to the upper Haifa really fast.
I never get tired of this place. The carmelit being the only subway system for now in Israel. Nice subway that helps people go up-down the mountain in Haifa. 6 stops from downtown all the way up to the haifa center where the big hotels are. The Carmelit was refurnished and reopenend around 1.5-2 years ago, so the trains are new, even though it's not a touristic place. People that come to visit always like going up. Worth taking a look.
