Formerly known as Gehenna in ancient times. It was initially where some of the kings of Judah sacrificed their children by fire. Thereafter it was deemed to be cursed (Book of Jeremiah 7:31, 19:2–6). In rabbinic literature, Gehenna is a destination of the wicked.
A small but interesting archeological park. Burial caves from the sixth century BCE. There are numerous caves which included coins and shards of pottery. Bodies were placed on benches until the body completely decayed. The bones were then stored in a separate area. Also found were scrolls with the priestly blessing.

מערכת של מערות קבורה מימי בית ראשון, כולן חשופות בגלל חציבת האבן או התמוטטות בתקופות מאוחרות. המקום מונגש עם הסברים ותרשימים בצמוד למרכז מורשת בגין. במקום נמצאה מגילת כסף קטנה שמוצגת במוזיאון ישראל ועליה מופיעים פסוקים מברכת הכוהנים. הקדומה בעולם. שווה להשקיע כמה דקות אם מטיילים באזור. פתוח, נגיש, ולא עולה כסף.
גינה יפה, פעם הייתה כאן כנסייה ואפילו אתר קבורה מימי הבית השני. המקום שופץ, אך אין בו צל בימי החום הכבדים. אין הרבה מה לעשות בו פרט לחובבי הזאנר
