The Circassian community arrived in the Land of Israel in the mid 19th century as a result of wars and genocide after their homeland was conquered by the Russian Empire. In Israel they are a unique minority, not Arab, but of the Muslim faith and are dully integrated into Israel's society.

Such an enlightening experience. We knew nothing about the Circassians, and this was an informative, wonderful experience. We saw a short movie, and then had a talk with David who answered all our questions patiently and thoroughly. I highly recommend it!
