An amazing site - in the industrial park at the entrance to Kiryat Gath - a farm run by elders of the Ethiopian community living in the nearby Kiryat Gath. They have built the farm like their farms where back in Ethiopia before these outstanding people made their heroic journey to the land of Israel. Here you have a chance not only to observe but you can also work and help while learning about their amazing history and culture. Truelly a highlight - a site in my personal opinion worth visiting.

Great fun, and really inspirational This is built around small plots for elder Ethiopians to grow their own produce, with stations to explain bits of Ethiopian culture. The kids love the activity corner, helping build a mud hut, and sorting in Amaharic. There was a fascinating story of a personal Aliya story, working with clay, a belief play on Sigd and flute playing. Successful for all ages

They do great social work for Ethiopian immigrants that haven't been able to transition out of agrerian lifestyle. The visit was fun for the kids and educational.
