Simply the best. We proudly own 2 Solar shop roasters and will start using our 3rd next week! These folks make very high quality roasters. The Solar is a perfect shop roaster in all respects. Mine is 14 years old, and thousands of pounds later, it runs exactly as if it was new. I've never had a breakdown issue. Consistency from roast to roast is spot on due to the intelligent design of the controls and the built-in roast algorithm. All components are super heavy duty, not a flimsy part anywhere. Maintenance is simple - clean the exhaust pipe. The controls are straight forward and the roaster is easy to use. A standard 220V 20 amp line is all you need. They even make a smokeless system if you have venting or code issues. If you are looking for an easy to use, high quality shop roaster, seriously consider the Solar. You won't find better value anywhere.

I needed to check information on an older model, and after a very friendly telephone conversation some pics were exchanged, followed promptly by the correct user manual - less than an hour from my initial contact.
