The Omri Foundation, is an NGO that operates as the social-business initiative, Nof Meshutaf: A Shared Landscape, which was established in memory of the late Omri Goldin, who was murdered in the Meron Junction bus bombing in August 2002. The project is a shared initiative for the communities in the ‘heart of the Galilee,’ promoting joint leadership of young people for shared society and social change. In our vision, the’ heart of the Galilee’ is a diverse social eco-system in which different communities live side by side, who see partnership as a key to prosperity and respect for individuals, identities and communities. Nof Meshutaf: A Shared Landscape will be a common space and a base for neighboring communities that focus on the people. The communities will nurture a young, authentic and lively leadership that advocates initiative, sustainability, community partnership, and renewal, for the personal and communal prosperity of the residents of the region and for a common future in the’ heart of the Galilee’ and Israel.
