Amazing new doner kebab place right next to the Mahane Yehuda market in Jerusalem. First doner kebab (as opposed to shawarma) that I have found in Israel! Real (ie thin) Turkish style doner kebabs served in homemade lavash (39 NIS). Toppings are standard and include parsley, kosher (ie parve) yoghurt, and garlic mayo. The meat was amazing - real doner meat (ie, ground and mixed). They also managed to make it חריף enough to my liking which is quite a feat. Quick service and they have a few outdoor tables for those that prefer outdoor dining. People are currently queuing out the door so I predict that this place will do well - as it should! Prices (correct only at the time of posting this review): Doner kebab - 39 NIS Potato fries - 18 NIS Beer (330ml, Sharpio) - 20 NIS
Service was good. The food was great. Not that cheap but not too expensive either.
on a small comercial center in suburbia z Modeein resides AKA. far east food. the food is not bad but Mediocre at best. service is a little juvenile. waitress seem to either not deliver an order or deliver them twice! the place itself has a busy ambiance feeling, which is ok for families. don't expect any romance happening here. This is for the time after romance has became family life.
We had a Sushi platter for 2 and our son had Chicken Schnitzel with Chips. Both meals were lovely, service was great and the vibe was lovely. If you are going on a Friday night or Saturday it is preferred that you phone ahead and book a table as they can get very busy.
