Around 2014 my mother brought to Roni several of her paintings to show and hopefully sell. After a few months he returned them to her saying they weren't selling. To my mother's surprise one painting was missing which Roni told her she never gave him or lost. Come the great year of 2020 we saw this Facebook page post several pictures of the work shown in the gallery today - one of which was the "lost" painting my mother had made 6 years ago! We learned he was selling the painting for NIS 2,000 which he was obviously going to pocket! When asked who the painter is, he said "oh some girl." As far as I know, a gallery should be promoting and representing an artist's work! We went in today to confront Roni and have the painting returned to my mother's possession. After an extremely rude, abusive, and insulting argument between Roni and us, we finally got the painting returned, but without the original frame. Roni accused my mother that the painting isn't even hers when her name is fully written on the back! He even had the audacity to insult her and say that "she will never succeed." Business owners should not be treating customers nor clients in such a way, full stop. Roni is a vile and crooked man who is in fact very ignorant regarding the trade of art. I highly do not recommend business with this thief.

רוני התראיין ברדיו וסיפר עד כמה מצבו הכלכלי קשה. באתי לקנות תמונה והתפתחה שיחה שבה המשיך להתלונן על המצב ועל זה שאין לו פנסיה. עצמאי בגילו שלא חסך לפנסיה בכל השנים ורק צרך את הכסף לצריכה שוטפת, צריך להתלונן רק על עצמו. מספיק עם הבכי והנהי במדינה. אם אתה מפסיד כסף סגור את העסק ולך לעבוד בכל עבודה. החל מניקוי חדרי מדרגות חלוקת עיתונים, או ניהול בנק- אבל אל תתבכיין ברדיו וכשבאים אליך תמשיך עם הבכיינות.

יקר בטירוף, נתנו שלש תמונות למתיחה. שתי תמונות קטנות 60/60 , 50/50 ותמטנה 100/150 ס"מ. מדד אמר מחיר של 1,260 ש"ח לשלש התמונות וציין שיתן הנחה, השארנו את התמונות ואמר שהצעת מחר מחיר ישלח במייל, אחרי יום יומיים לא הגיעה הצעת מחיר מסודרת פנינו ואז הגיעה ההפתעה. המחיר קפץ. לפתע נולדה תוספת מע"מ. במקום אין שום שלט לגבי כולל או לא כולל מע"מ. התקשרתי לבטל את ההזמנה והודיע לי שהעבודה כבר בוצעה ולפני סיום! הסכים להוריד את המע"מ. לקח עוד מספר ימים עד שהודיע שהעבודה מוכנה. הנחה הואיל לתת הנחה של 60 ש"ח. בבית נתגלה שאין זהות בעובי בסיסי המתיחה, אחת התמונות מתוחה על מסגרת עבה כמעט פי שתיים מהאחרות, הסיכות נראות בצד בצורה לא אסטתית. שקלנו לחזור ולבקש תיקון אבל ויתרנו על ביקור במקום מתנשא יקר ולא הגון. אחרי הכל גילנו שאת אותה עבודה מבצעים בשליש מחיר.
