Horrible experience on peak days. Place is packed with people in a way that stops you from seeing the animals. Forget about parking as well. I suggest finding a parking space around the city and adding 10 minutes walk.

An excellent place for the whole family. Recently the zoo went through major renovation and still in some parts. It looks much better and the experience is much better and fun for the kids and adults alike. The feeding bags are cheap and provide extra fun for the kids and there's a petting hut. No more lions though... Entry prices are reasonable even without coupons (they also have family tickets which are slightly cheaper). Parking is enough but if you come early you should have no problems. Be warned - the prices for ice cream and snacks in the concession stand are very high.
