Founded in 2014, Shimoni Illustrations has set its goal to make art affordable for everyone. Shimoni's project HIPSTORY - consist of illustrations of the greatest leaders in history, only as modern hipsters made a big break through after the project received major media cover around the world, presented in galleries and over all gained great popularity. The project communicate with a wide range of people of different backgrounds and ages - from the up to date grandchild to his more settled grandparent. HIPSTORY may make people think and contemplate about their generation, about history and about themselves, but not less important, it has the potential of bringing a smile on people's faces. Amit Shimoni is an Israeli artist, a graduate of the Be'zalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. Shimoni is the founder and operator of the design studio Amit Shimoni Illustration located in Tel Aviv. Among the studio's projects Shimoni was in charge of branding and designing for top institutions in Israel as Mini-Israel park, Menachem Begin Heritage Center, Konrad Adenauer Fund, and more. Shimoni also work with magazines and papers around the globe, the New York Times and the New York Observer are among them. Shimoni's art work was exhibited in galleries around Israel and abroad in places like Germany (Berlin), Spain (Madrid), USA (New York, Arizona, Kansas) and more. In February (2015), at the age of 29, he was selected to the Israeli list of Forbes "30 under 30"​ of the top 30 promising Israelis of all fields under the age of 30.
