Local market. Not as colorful as Carmel market but more authentic. Not touristic.

Like the open air market in the French Quarter of New Orleans, nice and spacious, pretty decent variety. Unlike it and especially Shul HaCarmel though, also a decently priced area and a much better bus flow. Has announcements in English I'm guessing for tourists' sake but definitely seems to mind the local population as well. Recommended over Shuk HaCarmel for its more authentic feel and again, better prices.
I live by the hatikva market its a nightmare, the shopstall sellers are loud and agressive, theirs no specialty or gourmet ingredients or asian vegetables. the only thing worth it is naama spices at the beggining of the market down a corridor as they have a huge store of ubique baked good products and very cheap oils , unique choc , another indoor market in the center of the market with nice choc , and this one woman with short hair has magical mehashefa or witch like fresh greens that are very magical. theres also one stand at the end of the market that always has discounted avocadoes. Everything else is garbage and a waste of time.
Clean. Fresh and good quality fruits and vegetables
A vibey market. Very well stocked.
A large market that has undergone a facelift in recent years has taken a beautiful shape, walking around there feeling like in the sand, the place is very clean, parking around for free. Fruit and vegetable market and meat and spices can be found here everything, even restaurants. A particularly busy weekend.
Easy to get all you want in few minutes
Great local market experience! Way less off the beaten path and more authentic than lewinski/Carmel market. Only 10 mins walk from the train station.
