Fantastic time in this hostel. Owner (Moti) goes above and beyond to make his guests feel comfortable. This creates a great vibe in the hostel and makes the guests feel very much at home. Besides that, the facilities are great (beautiful old building in prefect location) and the breakfast is delicious and always fresh. I can’t recommend this hostel highly enough!
The Polihosts host (Motti) is really great and welcoming, he makes sure you are comfortable when you enter. Cozy, but very modern stylish place with good breakfast. Room was nice, with big bed, and good comforter and since the room is locked, there's an adjustable humidifier. Though I wish there was another bathroom available. I don't care if it's private, I just wish there was more than 2 for the whole hostel. But otherwise, great location.
Wonderful place in Jaffa. The hosts are genuine and treat you like family, the breakfast is delicious, and the interior of the hostel is authentic old Jaffa architecture. A real treat! The only downside is that it is far from the downtown and main Tel Aviv beaches, but it is generally near the Central Bus Station, the Jaffa Markets, and the venues for big gay parties such as Forever. You will want to figure out the busses or scooter systems if you plan on spending most of your time in the center of the city, or enjoy the 45 minutes to 1 hour of walking alongside the world's best coastline. All in all, it is a wonderful stay, and should be on your list.
Very friendly host who saved our trip! We had mistakenly booked for Yom Kippur where we had no chance to get to Jaffa. The host was super cooperative and found a solution for us while he could have been easily persisting on keeping the booking. I hope we have the chance to visit his place on another occasion. Hosts like him make travelling so precious. Thanks!
Special place
Cosy and comfortable place, right in the heart of Jaffa old city. A minute's walk provides the best views of Tel Aviv. Moti is an excellent host, taking care of everything, always accessible, and friendly.
Very kind Hostel. Motti helps you with all you need. The hostel is located in a quite street close to Jaffas Mainstreet Yefet. Shops are near. You live in the middle of the Old town of Jaffa. Very uncomplicated atmosphere. Modern but traditional.
