The apartments here are used to house the students of the Ulpan Etzion program. The apartments here are dirty, poorly maintained, and the heating/AC systems are not even properly vented to work in each rooms; the duct work is ran but no one ever camped them for the rooms so it only blows into the living room. You’re lucky if the sings have a functional handle and even more so if the water coming out isn’t some shoddy trickle, showers included. Hot water? Not really. No screens on the windows and you have them open a lot to get fresh air as well as birds and insects come inside. There was recently an electrical fire that happened in one of the apartments due to a faulty refrigerator, which the exact same model refrigerator is in every single apartment. The fire was over 3 weeks ago and no one has been by to check the other refrigerators. It was a huge fire, it destroyed apartment 22 and a lot of smoke damage to many other apartments around it in the building. No one was brought in by management to clean the smoke and damage, the individual students were left to clean their own apartments. There is a single washing machine and if you are lucky it will eat your shekels multiple times before it actually will wash something, DO NOT use the dryer, just let things air dry. You are better off taking the stairs than the elevator, you may get stuck. Other than all that and that the train tracks are right outside your window and the bottom floor is full of bars that party late at night with drunkards out and about till 5am its clearly a great place to live!
