About 3,000 Israeli children have cancer and every year an additional 400 children join this circle. "Hayim" association is active in all the medical centers in Israel and has become an integral part of the oncology department. The Association is unique in their way of identifying the needs of the child and family, and creating suitable projects for these needs such as having a "wellbeing supporter" in each oncology department. "Hayim" association was established by parents of pediatric cancer patients who understood firsthand the illness and the toll it takes on patients and family members. The association helps the child and family in a variety of ways.
