Poor service by the mechanics, takes too long to get service, too much bureaucracy and could've been more practical, not recommended

Don't visit unless you have no choice
Brought my partners car for a service after making an appointment in advance. Waited 1 hour for them to start working on the car. She wanted them to take it for a test as well (150 sh. Other places take 100). They called me over to tell me both rear tires need to be replaced. I went over to look as one had been replaced only 2 months ago and was brand new. They said that they needed to be the same model of tires and the same brand in order to pass the test, so they needed to replace both. Apparently replacing just one with another of the same brand as the existing new one wasn't even an option that occurred to them as long as we were paying. Also, 1500 shekels for a 90,000 km standard service on a car with only 55,000 km on the clock, in spite of its age, sounded a bit high - and that is before the tire replacement. I was not impressed by the service or the prices.
so turned out that I visited this place twice in two months. but the story is good. in the first time I needed to do overall treatment for the car, it started from a call to the place to ask for the price and ended with that they gave me a discount below other competitor's offer. then I got to the place, and when they needed to do extra work and replacements for the car they let me know and they welcome me to see what they talking about and understand why and how. on the end they gave me extra presents for my car and called me on the day after to ask how my visit was and how I ranked the service. the second time I visited, I needed that they will check a problem I have in my car that might be caused from one of the things they do on the last treatment. they checked it out and replace the part to totally new part without charging anything for the part or the work, I was surprised because this places work by the book most of the times and they said and repeat that twice that customer satisfaction is first, and sure they let me go with positive opinion about them. now I'm sure where I'm going to do my next car treatment.

I just wanted to share my experience with you all. I live in Raanana and the nearest Kia service center is in Herzliya. We recently purchased a Kia Niro. We had a little over 12000 kms on it. Evening before last I tried to start our car as usual. A message popped up "stop the car and check the brakes" and all the systems lights turned on, but our car was "no go". I called the service center at 8 a.m. Yosi, the Niro expert, called me back and tried to talk me through cable-jumping the auxiliary battery, but the battery was so dead that I couldn't get the back door open to access the battery. He came to me with another technician, got the back door open, and drove my car back to the service center. About 15 minutes after he arrived at the center, he swapped a couple fuses and the car was as good as new. I took a cab to the service center and asked how much I owed. They smiled and told me I didn't owe them anything. Bottom line: 5-star professionalism, 5-star friendliness, and 5-star customer care.
