Kadosh is a staple and it’s easy to understand why. The missing star is because I really wish they had a few savory pastries as well. Great stop during my trip to Jerusalem.

I wanted to get here for ages. We came early in the morning on Friday from Tel Aviv, line was long but bearable. Everything looks super pretty on the pictures, but unfortunately, nothing was special or even tasty. For example, croissant with halva and chocolate, was so small and DRY, with almost no filling inside, just few chocolate chips, that supposed to be melted but were hard like stone. The croissant wasn't good as well, didn't play on out taste buds. We also ordered a pastry with strawberries and cream pattisier(okeish) and savory croissant (best out of all). We took one cake home, with cheese and crumble. I would definitely recommend it, very good. So, overall the experience was upsetting. My husband and I are hunters for bakeries, so we can compare. Maybe it was just an unlucky day, but place with such name is not supposed to have these days.

We have ordered croque madame and \alim\ with cheeses. The dishes were super duper small and were just ok. The prices here are disconnected to the value you get, quantity and quality wise. The line is the longest I've stood in for quite a while so I guess my opinion is the minority. But if you don't want to be hungry after spending over 200 nis then skip this place or be disappointed.

They said everything about Kadosh's Hannukah donuts. We reached the place during the early morning on Friday so we had been waiting for 10 minutes at all. You may use the Skeeper app to reserve a table before reaching the place. Anything looked great. The donuts and the other stuff were very tasty. However, it was very very pricey

Best almond croissant ever! Definitely worth waiting in a queue (there is a long one)

Cafe Kadosh was opened in Jerusalem in 1967 by Meir Kadosh, who has since passed the business on to his son, Itzik, and Itzik’s wife, Keren, who currently run both the regular kitchen and the pastry kitchen upstairs. The cafe is designed in a neat, classic European style that makes for a decidedly old-school atmosphere, and, as Keren says, is a “warm, crowded, homey place.” When it comes to the food, Kadosh offers a kosher dairy menu that includes a variety of fresh pasta dishes, fresh and smoked fish, quiches, lasagnas, salads, sandwiches, baked goods and desserts. What really sets the place apart is that everything is made in-house, from the pasta to the bread to the pastries. Cafe Kadosh was voted number one in an article on JPost Online “Top 5 Coziest Coffee Shops.”
