20nis for small washer. 25 nis for big one. Dryer is 1nis for 2 min. You'll need at least 20 min to dry. Laundry soap is sold at store around the corner and down the hill. There is a machine that sells powder there If you can figure out how to use it. Washers are controlled by 2 black boxes where you select washer on the dial, then add your coins. 5 washers, 3 dryers total.
Excellent place. Everything worked very well and was easy to use. To add to previous reviews: laundry soap is now available inside the actual laundrette at 2 shekels. Also, the sign outside is now in English as well as Hebrew. Locals in the area are very friendly and happy to help. (Also, the sit down restaurant opposite has excellent food lol.)
There five washers and three large dryers. There is no laundry soap for sale inside the laundry mat. We used shower gel from our hotel. The laundrymat is inside a small building with a few shops. There are two large machines that cost 25 shekels, coins only, and three small machines that cost 20 shekels per machine, exact change. Directions are in English but take your time reading the directions. The washers are turned by placing coins in an electronic box near the machines. The dryers run by time, two minutes per shekel. Get coins before coming to the laundry mat. There are some local businesses and they are friendly. But don’t rely on it. The start button for the dryer is out of sight of short people but look for the handwritten marker pen where start is written. If you’re tall, you will see it. We ate schnitzel at one of the little shops but it closes at 4pm. Plus, the power went out in the laundry mat and the owner came in ten minutes and repairs things. Better to go during working hours!
I'm on vacation in Eilat and needed to do some laundry. This was the closest place from my hotel with good reviews via TripAdvisor. I don't speak or read Hebrew, so I was worried about if I'd have any challenges. Everything went pretty smooth. Only downside is you need to make sure you have exact change. They don't have change machines, nor sell detergents (which you can buy next door). Also, the place is inside a commercial building with other stores and there is no laundry sign on the outside of the building. There is a sign outside for Pizza, so you know it's the right place.
Clean place. Machines does good cleaning job. The owner is always available if you need to call him if there is a problem .
Clean and easy to use, just one has to bring 1,2,5,10 nsh coins
