The Center’s Objectives: • Academic research into central issues in Maritime Policy & Strategy • Joining the University’s wide efforts to lead the field of Marine Research in all its aspects • Enhancing UoH unique relations with Israel’s Security Establishment • Serving as a “Think Tank” for policy makers • Shaping Israeli public discourse, and promoting it in cases it does not exist, through position papers, symposiums and media appearances • Creating long lasting collaborations with leading institutions worldwide in the maritime domain • Educating young researchers in the various disciplines of Maritime Strategy • Providing the IN Naval Academy and the IDF Joint Staff College academic and Intellectual education
