The Old City of Caesarea is one of the most unique scuba diving destinations in the world. The old Roman city is actually underwater, everything that you see above the water are modern recreations. That being said, there are no buildings or streets under the water, only ruins. The dive rout takes you between pillars, large stones and other remainings of the old Roman port. Another interesting thing about this dive site is that the landscape is constantly changing, due to the current and the sandy surface. As a result, new pieces of the old Roman city are being unrevealed every time there is a storm in the area. Every year or so, a diver finds a box full of golden coins - but don't get too excited - they were all obligated to hand it over to the department of reservation. The dive center offer guided scuba diving, as well as equipment renting for those who have the needed qualifications.

Nice place with nice Scuba diving places! Nice staff, equipment and instructor.
The guides are excelent and the diving site is nice. However, some of the equipment was damaged or unfitting.

All-around great experience diving here! The guide was great, really showing me the site and bringing it alive. Also, the equipment was in good shape and the facility is the most diver-friendly I've seen: the water entrance is literally 10 feet from the shop!
