While the place serves pretty great and very tasty Italian food in fair, affordable prices, there’s not enough variety of choices - about 10 types of sauces for pasta/ravioli, very few types of pizzas, and some fish (obviously more expensive). We didn’t order a desert but that’s because the choices were less appealing (not the classic deserts you’d expect). The service was nice and the portion were good. You should have a reservation, especially if you’re coming as a group, because the place was extremely crowded for a Wednesday’s night. The place is quiet small. The location is unfortunate and uncomfortable. There’s no parking for the restaurant’s guests and we had to find a spot either in a nearby street or a public parking lot a few blocks away. After all, it was a pleasant experience, hence the 4-star rank.
None of the food was great, but nothing was bad either. Probably not the finest Italian restaurant around but decent opposed to Kosher competitors. The Pizza wasn't impressive at all, pasta was very simple. Would recommend the Arenchini starter.
Great Italian restaurant with generous portions and good prices
Went there for a family occasion with 14 peoples. Tasted most of the main courses. Very enjoyable. Maybe the pizza should be baked a little longer but the risotto was creamy, the ravioli and the pasta were perfectly cooked. Good service. Worth 4.5 stars.
Nothing really bad to say about Manuel, but nothing really good either. This is my 2nd time in this restaurant and just like last time - it's ok. Not much more. The menu is a little predictable and the dishes themselves are, well... Ok. It feels bad to say it because the place has great potential but it looks like they prefer to give the people what they expect rather than try to create a more interesting and adventurous food. Pricing is decent and parking is a plenty.
Edit: I came again 3 weeks later after leaving this review and the service was surprisingly bad. The food was still good as always, but the place was very understaffed, and we had to stand up several times to call the attention of our waiter which is a cardinal sin in any good restaurant. Lowered my review from 5 to 3 stars. I don't know if we will continue to come here again. Original review: This is my favorite restaurant in Israel. My family has been coming here every other weekend since they opened. It's fantastic, amazing food, amazing service, very cozy place. It's also not very expensive at all, it's one of the only restaurants in Israel that doesn't overprice their food. It's a true gem that is only known by locals, there's almost zero tourists here because it's about 20 minutes from Tel Aviv. 10/10 would recommend for anybody, local or tourist looking for a nice spot to eat out.
It was very tasty we will definitely revisit this restaurant with or without you.
