Asaf not only guided us around Israel for 8 days, but he created an experience for us that changed our lives and will be forever remembered as one of the mountaintop memories we will cherish. His knowledge is broadly wide-ranging crossing many historic civilizations, fluent in multiple languages and understanding of many religious backgrounds and cultures. In short, there is no finer host for the best experience inside Israel. More than all this, Asaf possesses a winsome personality, always upbeat and positive, while giving us confidence that he not only has our enjoyment prioritized, but also our safety and comfort. He quickly became a family friend knowing our preferences, our humor, our concerns and our patterns. He introduced us to real Israeli experiences & culture, never relying on typical tourist attractions or "phoning it in". Instead, he made sure we saw all the important sites while also introducing us to local destinations that we would have never seen or known had we not been guided by him. Asaf showed us the true and beautiful Israel...the one that calls us back and will definitely be hosted by our beloved guide Asaf.

We have used Asaf Rockman’s services on two separate trips to Israel and have found him to be an outstanding guide in every respect. He is knowledgeable and helpful, with his love and enthusiasm for his country shining through at all times. Nonetheless, his commentary is always balanced and informative. Nothing was too much trouble and we always felt we were getting the inside story, no matter what we did or where we went with him. We came away with insights and understanding of the country and its people that might otherwise have escaped us. Highly recommend.

We travelled on alternate days for three days through Israel with Asaf and Amir Rockman. Each of them brings a distinctive perspective to the culture, history and features of the country, but together they provided us with an intensive and thorough education about this remarkable place. Without them we could never have gained such a nuanced impression of Israel. They entertained our many questions with patience and good humour and always provided thoughtful insights that went far beyond the official story. I can't recommend them highly enough not just as guides but as fundamentally decent, kind and intelligent people. And they're both cyclists.
I have been to Israel many, many times. Always, one of the highlights of my visits to Israel is my time with Asaf and Enav. We work together creating one of a kind adventures. Most of the time we travel by mountain bike exploring the small 'undiscovered' alley ways and single tracks that take us deep into the nature of Israel. Asaf is an excellent cycling guide and a very good bicycle mechanic which comes in very handy when you have a mechanical issue in the middle of the desert. Asaf and Enav are two of my favorite people not just in Israel but in the whole world. I will see them and tour with them every time I am in Israel.
