This is hands down the quintessential surf shop of Tel-Aviv. If you are serious about surfing and want to ride some waves, but don’t want to rent overpriced soft-tops Big Blue offers poly and epoxy fabricated boards to rent and purchase at a very reasonable price. I was in Tel Aviv for 8 days. Tal (the owner) was super welcoming and accommodating. He opened up early if I needed to surf when his store wasn’t open and stayed late if I was coming back from an evening session. Tal spent years shaping surfboards so his knowledge of surf craft is very helpful when choosing the right board for the right waves. He is in Tel Aviv to progress the sport outside of a novelty for tourist or those still stuck in the 90s riding shortboards on 1ft (0.3m) waves. Great store with wide selection of surf craft to get you frothing on the Mediterranean. I rented a Big Levitator and it was about 20 a day USD.
