We were a group of 26 in 13 rooms. Everyone was happy with everything at Ketura. The place is lovely and clean. Everyone we met was so welcoming! We received an hour tour of part of the kibbutz and heard about its history and current daily life. A very inspiring place. The rooms are spacious, each with its own bathroom. Kitchens have what you need. Breakfast was great and generous, brought to the rooms in these Corona days. I plan on staying there again. It is perfect for trips into the desert in the area! The only downside...one of their newest enterprises, the beer brewery. The cost of a small bottle was very expensive and not all the varieties were to my taste. But, on the other hand, I see it as my contribution to this unique place.

They were very pleasant and accommodating, and accepted us with a few hours' notice. The double room (two rooms, two bathrooms, one kitchen) are just right for 2 adults and 2 kids (3 kids would fit fine too). Loved the breakfast, service, short tour (with the wonderful Bill), and the variety of activities for kids: pool, park, mountain walk, tour to the date fields etc. 30 minutes from Eilat and even closer the the airport and safari.

I visited in 2009 to complete research for a college project on sustainability. I went with my best friend as I couldnt drive at the time. We were made to feel SO very welcome. I loved my stay here. There was a bit of a joke too with our names on our room door. My mate is Ferguson and I am Sean. In Yiddish it looked as though 'Forgotten Already' was written there. Michael our contact and guide found it highly amusing. We exprienced a Bar Mitzvah of twin brothers. Truly such a privilege to witness and share. Thank You Kibbutz Ketura.

Wonderful experience: Clean and simple, in the middle of the most beautiful desert scene in the world, and the feeling of a Kibbutz experience without any of the difficulties of Kibbutz. A one in a lifetime experience!

Wonderful! Pleasant and welcoming. The courtyards between the rooms are great for large groups, but the soundproofing is good so there's no problem with noise.
