Small but nice museum about the ancient Philistine people. Spent about an hour with children, maybe a bit longer without them. It was interesting enough to keep their attention, especially the interactive table where you rebuild artifacts. Worth checking out if you are in the area but not to go just for this attraction.

Ashdod may not be on your must see list, but it’s definitely worth it. This museum has some great archeological artefacts from the vicinity - it was one of the most important philistine towns, and one of a small number of towns mentioned in the Old Testament. The museum is very small, and you’ll need waze or google maps to reach it, but it does not disappoint.

A small museum with a story that spans over 600 years! The easyguide and displays are well done and interesting with incredible artifacts, poems from Homer to Brecht, and biblical stories we all know so well like Samson and Dalilah
