Staying at Zohar's is like staying at the home of your kind and generous grandad. He comes in and personally fixes your breakfast. Eggs, fresh squeezed orange juice, humus, vegetables, fruit, salads, etc, he kept bringing out more food and encouraging us to eat. Enough for breakfast, lunch, and maybe even dinner. It's a few blocks from a bus route, but in the morning they're happy to drop you wherever you're going. The larger apartment is plenty large and very homey. Full kitchen with gas stove and well stocked refrigerator. Computer with Internet, TV over the bed with Netflix and YouTube. Washing machine. We couldn't figure out how to use the washer and when we asked about it they took our heap of clothes and washed them for us. Neighborhood is very quiet at night. Fresh produce market and falafel shop just down the street.
The owner is kind, generous, helpful, friendly and makes the most delicious breakfast. Ask to taste the best falafel in Haifa!!!! It was like we were staying with family. There is a great kitchen with a table, a lovely bathroom, a lounge with a single bed on the side & then there is a curtain with a double bed on the other side and another single bed. The apartment is on the ground floor, there is a washing machine & there is parking outside. It took us about 20 minutes to walk to the Baha'i Gardens .. it is uphill and on the day we went it was very hot so take water and a hat with you and for the ladies, remember to keep your shoulders covered and to cover your knees. The views are magnificent. To go to Yefe Nof Street, you need to take your car. From this pretty street you get a wonderful view of Haifa and of the gardens.
