Only good things i have to say! From service to the quality of the car to the waiting hall, perfection with a smile! I am renting cars in israel often, save your time and come stright to avis haifa!

Awful service, took me about 1.5 hour just to get car which I already paid for on website. When I asked if they work on Sunday evening ( after shabbat) one of the workers respond me -we're not shop or something, of course we're not Also on the website AND in their app I haven't found any information that was actually useful for the rent. I know for sure that I will never come here again Also their opening hours that are written in Google AND on their website are not right Soo, as you can see its not the best place for car rental *rental service is awful, but haven't bought here any car, so can't really tell anything about bying a car at this place.

A conveniently located places to rent and cars. Easily accessible with public transportation. Helpful stuff. Getting things done takes a bit of time, but these are cars!

Be ready to wait a LONG time - if you're in a hurry, you won't be happy. Good prices, good cars but apparently they save money by skimping on customer service.

This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had in my life. I made a reservation a few weeks prior, and when I went to pick the car up, I was only in there for less than five minutes before I just walked out mid-conversation. I wish I could have taken a video of the way the sales associate spoke to me. He refused to answer very basic and standard car rental questions (questions around total cost, insurance coverage, etc.) and would turn them back on me to make it sound like I was asking something really stupid. Don't I deserve to make an informed decision about who I give my business to? Please just take my advice and go anywhere besides Avis! Learn from my mistake and save yourself the time, hassle, and irritation. It's just not worth it. This is my fourth time to Israel and my third time renting a car here, so I have enough experience to know what to expect from the car rental companies here. Do whatever you can to rent from anywhere but Avis. For anyone who is curious, I have rented from Hertz on HaHistadrut Ave and have had such a great experience with them. Avis and other car rental companies in Israel will try to tell you that you can't use the car rental insurance that comes on your credit card, but Hertz has let me use it every time. You simply just need to have your credit card company send you a letter/email saying that your coverage applies in Israel and show it to them when you go to pick up your rental.

Horrible service, charged me money to get a car tested, turned out to be the wrong car and wouldn't return the money.

Don't be surprised when you receive a whole lot of hidden fees. Although this is not the only car company in Israel that does not bother with being transparent about it.

I have rented cars in the US and internationally about 10 times and never in my life have I received such poor service, and had a rental car company attempt to swindle me for so much money (yes of course they always do trick you a bit with the insurance to some degree) . Basically--if you manage to find a car rental online with them that is cheap, they alter the insurance from the normal 40-50 shekel to about 120 shekel (33 US dollar--more than 2x what I've paid anywhere else). They wanted to charge me in total 5x what I paid to reserve the car. The employees didn't know what they were doing and the manager didn't want to get involved. I spent about an hour there and In the end I canceled most of a reservation for a car I needed to be able to visit a sick relative because I couldn't afford it. Really shameful business.
