BE CAREFUL! When you get there, they charge you 20 to 28 per day telling you that it's a mandatory insurance. If it's so \mandatory\, why isn't it listed up front?
Stopped in to fix something on our car rental (origin Jerusalem), and were on our way in a minute. The clerks were very competent and friendly; and the car rental was inexpensive!
The worse company in Osrael.to rent a car from. I come to Israel every year and I rent a car every year, I've never had such rude customer service. I got a flat tire and they are telling me I have to fix it.myself and repair the flat myself because I have no \torw insurance\. When I asked how come I wasn't offered to buy such insurance they hung up on me. Not only do they charge almost 40 per day for the smallest vehicles on earth, but they also are very rude and rip off. Try another company!
We started in the branch in Eilat and we were planning to return to the branch in Afula. We couldn't speak with anyone in Afula ever (multiple tries, morning, day, night) to see if they were open or closed on/after Sukhot when we called before Shabbat previously so we opted not to return the car as there was obviously no one. When we arrived at Tel Aviv, we tried the explain the situation having kept the car 2 extra days (Shabbat and Sukhot) and the lady at the counter was very helpful. She tried to call the Afula branch at least 5 times letting ring for a total of what seemed like 30 minutes (I was able to eat my lunch). When she tried to help us she went to her manager (Almog Vaturi) who yelled in his office, didn't move his chair in his closed lid office and told her to get back to us with an answer. I never saw his face, I only heard his yelling. His answer was not only that we get penalised for the other branch not being open but he removed our \internet rebate\ from the whole reservation. All in all the starting price was OK, hence not 1 star review but the mismanagement (Almog) and the staff issues (Afula not answering the phone ever) left me with a terrible aftertaste.
